Tournament Terms and Conditions

The Road to EGX Tournament is operated by Gamer Network and Epic Gaming. In addition to rulesets applied to each tournament qualifier, the following terms apply to the tournament as a whole.

Tournament Entry Criteria

Tournament qualification slots will be available by participating in events either at EGX Rezzed, EGX or online between March and September. Players must be able to attend EGX in September at the NEC, Birmingham if they qualify. The Grand Finals are provisionally scheduled to take place on the Sunday of EGX  (24th September).

Qualifying teams will be given tickets to take part at the EGX event in September, however all other expenses (travel, accomodation etc.) are the responsibility of the player. 

Limited substitutions will be permitted prior to the finals as long as a minimum of 4 players who took part in the same team in the qualifying tournament take part in the final. 

One a team has qualified for the final, they may not participate in any further qualifiers to give other teams the opportunity to take part. 

Tournament qualifiers spaces are available on a first-come-first-served basis. 


Teams disqualified from any stage of the tournament will not be able to participate in the remainder of the series. 


The EGX Esports Discord is the official communications and support channel for the tournament. 


Tournament coverage will be via a range of channels, not limited to Twitch, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. By participating you agree to be included within these coverage channels. 

The decision of any representative from Gamer Network or Epic Gaming is final.

Tournament schedule is subject to change. 


The winners of the main tournament at EGX in Septmber will receive

Top of the line OMEN by HP laptops (1 per team member, maximum 6)

There will also be a special prize for the player of the tournament as judged by the casters and tournament team. This will be open to any of the players taking part in the EGX September Grand Final only.
